Integration to ADP Accounts

Automatic Data Processing, Inc., the global business services provider is located in Paterson, New Jersey, U.S. The founder of the company was Henry Taub, in 1949. ADP works on the cloud-based information, moreover, HR functions can be managed easily. Thus, the portal of ADP is beneficial for business clients. As they use it for their efficient work and managing several tasks. In short, this portal simplifies day to day tasks of the owner. This software can also be accessed from any remote place and guarantee security. Thus, we can rely on this software completely. 

Before you Begin

One should record the following pieces of information from the workforce now account :

  • The Code of the company is mandatory. 
  • Department code for each employee. 
  • A file number is given to every employee. 
  • Earning codes. 
  • Hour types. 
  • Batch number. 

If any information mentioned above is missing, contact your ADP representative. 

Setting up the ADP Workforce Now Integration 

  • Turn on the ADP workforce now integration
    1. Click the setting icon. 
    2. Select integration. 
    3. Click to see all integration
    4. Click Learn more 
    5. Now a green colored box appears on the right side of the page written Enable.  Click on it. 
  • Add your ADP company information
    1.  Now you have to add the Company Code
    2. Followed by Batch number
    3. To save the changes,  click save which appears on the right corner of the page. 
  • Add up ADP earnings code 
    1. Record each earning code to an ADP Code and Hour Type
    2. To save the changes,  click save which appears on the right corner of the page.
  • Add ADP employee file numbers 
    1. Enter the ADP file name. 
    2. To save the changes,  click save which appears on the right corner of the page.
  • Add ADP department codes for When I Work positions 
      1. Set an ADP Department Code. 
      2. An additional choice is, if you want to set the pay rate for positions instead of pay rate information, select Exclude pay rate information. 
      3. To save the changes,  click save which appears on the right corner of the page.
  • Sending pay period hour data  to ADP workforce now 
    1. Close and export pay period hours. 
    2. Click Export My ADP Workforce Now. 
    3. Now you should save the CSV files. 
    4. Upload the saved file to the ADP workforce now.
